Al-Waha Pan Rasna Flavored Hookah Tobacco
Al-Waha Hookah Tobacco has been a staple brand of
flavored hookah tobacco for a good long time now, with a creative mixture of traditional and unique flavors and top notch quality and easy to afford price. They only use premium French tobacco in a medium cut and primarily natural in color, although a couple are dyed red. Today, I am going to be trying out their flavor Pan Rasna. It is available in

Pan Rasna Flavored Tobacco Review
Pan Rasna is said to be a mixture of Indian spices, which intrigued me, as I am a general lover of all things flavorful… and most flavors. The smell of this flavored shisha is very floral and spicy, almost like an incense or potpourri. I could instantly tell that my room was going to smell FANTASTIC after smoking this – I was right, it did – but was a touch weary about the flavor since incense has never smelled tasty to me. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised.
The flavor has a very flavorful, rich spiced air about it. I could almost picture it being a unique flavor for a hard candy at a fancy restaurant. The floral is light with subtle notes of mint. The mint is there, but it is light and not very prominent. If you want a cooling effect, I recommend mixing maybe 20% mint with Pan Rasna. Perhaps
Tangiers Cane Mint or
Al-Waha's Mint to keep the brands the same for optimal mixing.
Pan Rasna Flavor Profile
The flavor alone is very nice and is fairly reminiscent of incense, but in a good way. It is a very soothing flavor and feels very formal in a way, almost like what I would imagine shisha would have tasted like when honey and flavors were first introduced to
hookah hundreds of years ago. Overall, I would smoke this again. Outside next time, though. It feels like it would be perfect for a warm summer night on the back patio, watching the stars and enjoying the silence. Al-Waha Pan Rasna may be found on
