Tangiers Tobacco Description

For enthusiasts everywhere, Tangiers Premium Flavored Tobacco is the golden child of the hookah tobacco industry. Produced in San Diego, California by hand in small batches, this highly sought after fine cut unwashed dark leaf tobacco can be slightly troublesome to get your hands on. With a wide variety of flavors, many of which are staples for a solid collection, it's a tobacco that packs a punch in the flavor department as well as a buzz. It is dark in nature with no artificial colors added and very finely cut allowing for it to be beautifully dense packed. It requires a little acclimation before getting the desired outcome and tends to be better suited for seasoned smokers rather than novices. Tangiers Burley is the latest line in the brand and is the most potent out of all of them having a stronger buzz and stronger tobacco notes present in the flavors.

Tangiers has a wonderful variety to choose from and their 250 gram packages allow for Hookah users to smoke several times a month or with large groups of friends. The Burley line is packaged with purple labeling in an air-tight bag with printed instructions on it and a handwritten label. This package sealed for freshness but is not resealable so make sure to store it at room temperature in an airtight container.

Tangiers is perfectly juicy and works best in a dense slight under pack with a phunnel bowl. It is a higher nicotine content tobacco and is a finely cut dark leaf and has the best flavor results when it is packed at a dense level. Just sprinkle it in and add a fair amount of extra shisha to your hookah bowl before nudging it down to a semi-dense level that still has some airflow and buoyancy and then nudging it down just a tad more. When poking the holes in your foil, make sure to go a little deep and penetrate the tobacco for better airflow but try not to compromise the density of the pack. Tangiers can be fairly heat sensitive so it is recommended to use about 2/3 of the heat you normally would so start with 2 hookah coals before working up to adding more heat. This will ensure you do not burn your tobacco and prematurely end your session early. Be a little patient; proper heat management can be a fickle thing to nail down with Tangiers, but after a few tried and true attempts, you will find the sweet spot of temperature control with your setup and experience a top of the line session that could very likely surpass any that you have had before.
