Aspire Proteus Electronic Hookah Head Description
The Aspire Proteus Rechargeable E-Hookah Head takes the best of the vape world and brings it into the world of hookah. For anyone familiar with vape culture, Aspire is renowned for manufacturing prominent vape tanks like the Nautilus, Atlantis, and Triton. Instead of using tobacco and charcoal, the Aspire Vape Co. Proteus E-Hookah Head sits on top of any hookah and vaporizes the e-juice products, producing thick white clouds just like smoking a regular Hookah. It can be used with any E-Liquid brands on the market and for optimal performance, it is suggested to use one that has a VG content of 80 with a low to no nicotine level.
The device itself is simple and straightforward to use; just charge, fill and place it on your hookah the same way you would a traditional hookah bowl. It is black in color and houses the included two swappable 18650 batteries that are placed on both sides of the tank though it is not necessary to remove them when charging. It has an LED indicator on the front that will light up when charging, flash when the battery is low, and glow orange when firing the device. It is not only refillable, reusable, and rechargeable via the included micro USB charger but also uses no tobacco or combustion so you get great flavor and massive clouds without the fire, ash, odor, or chemical substances. It is a sub-ohm style of vaping and functions by an automatic draw meaning there are no buttons to press, all you need to do is hit it as you would with a traditional hookah set up and you are good to go.
One 10ml capacity Pyrex tank is included with additional tanks available for purchase that are designed for maximum airflow. Inside the tank is a threaded 0.25ohms stainless steel single coil with OCC (Organic) cotton and additional coils can also be purchased. There are two ways to fill it: The first is by removing the rubber fill stop on the top of the tank and using a unicorn or dripper bottle. The second is by unscrewing the tank the same way you would change out the coil and filling it that way, just make sure not to get any juice in the center of your atomizer when using this method. Never wash or wet your coil, just unscrew and switch out. When using a new coil, make sure to dampen it with some E-Juice beforehand and let it sit for 2-3 minutes to prime it before use. This is a very important step that helps to prevent any unnecessary harshness or burnt taste from dry heating the cotton in the atomizer.
