A cool idea! When you get them working at the right sensitivity they are awesome. I recommend them for dark vases in particular because the glow is very rich and beautiful.

these are really cool! So I ended up getting these as part of a Christmas present and what's cool about 'em is that they only light up when in motion... so... your vase could light up when you're pulling!
If you're looking for a way to "pimp" your hookah, you should check these out.
